                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 7400
                   BLOCK OF OLD LEE HIGHWAY, BEING OFF THE
                   SOUTHEAST LINE OF OLD LEE HIGHWAY AT INTERSTATE
                   75, FROM R-4 SPECIAL ZONE TO M-2 LIGHT
                   INDUSTRIAL ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at in the 7400 block of Old
                Lee Highway, being off the southeast line of Old
                Lee Highway at Interstate 75.  Part of an unplatted
                tract, being part of the properties described in
                deed book W, volume 21, page 603, ROHC, and deed
                book 759, page 511, ROHC, and property for which a
                deed could not be located.  Said part of tract
                begins at the intersection of the southeast line of
                the I-75 exit ramp with the Chattanooga City Limit
                line, thence south some 1660 feet with said City
                Limit line, thence northwest some 1105 feet to the
                center line of a branch, thence northeasterly some
                1295.5 feet with the center line of said branch to
                the southeast line of the I-75 exit ramp, thence
                northeast some 462 feet with the southeast line of
                said ramp to the Chattanooga City Limit line, the
                point of beginning.  Tax Map 139-3 (part).

         from R-4 Special Zone to M-2 Light Industrial Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   Subject to dedication of a right-of-way for connector 

                   between Bonny Oaks, I-75, and Jenkins Road.09
        
              2.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
